Monroe Community College (MCC)
College leaders at Monroe Community College tossed the “first disc” at the opening of MCC’s new disc golf course on All College Day, Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 on the east side of the Brighton Campus. Faculty, staff and students attended the opening and learned more about the sport through a demonstration hosted by MCC’s Health and Physical Education Department.

The course maximizes the campus’ beautiful landscape — including the pond, field and back woods —making it enjoyable for players. It’s a great place to experience the sport for the first time, and it offers significant challenges for seasoned players.
MCC’s course is free and open to the public. A course kiosk at hole number one provides a map of the course and general information. Players must use their own discs. Parking is available in the last row of Lot G. Players are encouraged to put a note on the dashboard indicating that they are playing disc golf.
