This site provides information about the disc golf community in and around the Rochester NY area and in New York State. We currently have 8 welcoming courses in the Greater Rochester area, so come experience some of the most challenging and diverse disc golf in the Northeast with us today!
Club News
The club is always accepting new members. The base membership starts at $20. Membership provides golfers with a 2008 Bag Tag and an invitation to the year end event, which includes catered lunch and great prizes. Other levels of membership are available and include choices of discs and t-shirts.
In an effort to get more female golfers involved with our club we are offering a discounted membership of $10. Congratulations and welcome to our first female member of the 2008 season - Amanda Catherwood!!!!
Club members interested in joining the PDGA (or renewing) are eligible for a $5 discount on their dues. To join either the GRDGC or the PDGA contact Ryan Hand at 734-6397 today!
What’s New
Cement tee pads are about to become the normal here in the Rochester area. Basil Marella will be the first course with cement installed. When you might ask? May 8th through 10th. Your help is needed! Please be a part of our work days to get this accomplished.
Rochester/Monroe County has been approved by the PDGA to be the host of the 2011 PDGA Amateur World Disc Golf Tournament “Mega Kudos” to Dave Thomas,Tony Inzana, Ryan Hand, John Whitney, Jason Ferraro, Matt Brennan and all others who helped to make a successful bid for the Words! Also, thanks go out to all who have contributed to the improvement of this website, which impressed the PDGA, including Jeff Petenski, Adam Brennan and all those who contributed photos, maps, hole descriptions, etc. to our site.
