I shot a disc off to the messy right side of the 911 foot hole (hole 11) - It was about a hundred foot from the pin but off right in the overgrown field. My disc must have been on a ground hornet's nest because I got stung four times in seconds! Be careful.

Thanks for the warning! However, please do NOT call vespids "Bees". They are Wasps. Bees include Honey Bees, Carpenter Bees, Bumble Bees, and species that are small and solo. They are all somewhat "hairy". Wasps include Yellow jackets, Ground Hornets, Bald-Faced Hornets, Paper Wasps, other obvious wasps. They are all smooth, no "hair".

Honey Bees can only sting you once, vespids can sting repeatedly. I have lots more information on this, but that should be good for now.

Oh, and while they do hurt a little bit, bee stings aren't that bad for me. Yellow Jackets, however, I react to with a swelling the size of and egg for several days and much more painful (to me).

Honey Bees help provide 1/3 of all crops we eat. They are a good insect we are dependent upon. Vespids (wasps) do help keep caterpillars and other insect "worms" in check.

There is also a softball sized white-faced hornet nest down low on the big pine tree to the right of hole 1 , near hole 2 tee box. Be careful of these ones as they are very aggressive! I know quite a bit about trees and bees myself, but thanks for the correction Alan.

There are also large annoying flies that constantly try to land on your head.

This is getting totally out of control!! I mean wasps that sting is one thing but now there are flies that land on our heads!!! Before you know it the creek will have sharks with freaking laser beams!!! Call the fire department this ones out of control!!!
