Wow! Basil Round 2 is set at 4-4. The non-mullie men can take it with an Andy victory over Sean for the first time in Match Play. BATTLE!

Headed back to Apple Farm for Round 9. 5 playoff spots have been locked in including 2 of the top 6. Just for everyone's records, tie-breakers will be decided by ratings. If there is a tie for 10th place to get into wild card weekend, we will have all players show up for a 3 hole playoff. Example; 3 players tied for 10th place. All will show up for wild card weekend and have a 3 way match play battle until we have a winner to lock up the 10th spot. Then we will immediately go into the 7 v 10, 8 v 9 battle.

I think Jason and I are gonna play Wednesday at 5 but haven't confirmed that yet. Played yesterday and the course looks great, but the rough is very rough and very high, so u must stay on the fairway else u will be losing discs

Tony beat Jason 6-3 at the Apple Farm in the 95 degree heat. Not much shade out there, that's for sure. The match was back and forth and within 1 point until the last few holes.

Playoff race is getting tight!

Well Rick Watkins pushed me to the limit today. Used one mullie on the first hole but then held the 4 others all the way to hole 15. Tied 2-2 going into 17 and nailed my upshot to take the 3-2 lead. My tommy upshot on 18 was left 60 feet short and Rick uses his mullie to try and park the hole to force a playoff. Thumber hit right under the basket and rolls away leaving him a 50 footer. I watch in agony knowing his putting skills lately, and as his disc leaves his hand I hear a "nope." Awesome Awesome match.

2.5 hour battle at the Farm and it was a blast Rick!

I hope this is it for the Apple farm. Neuf defeats DiRoma 7-2 thru 15. rain held off, not to worry tho, tall grass with poison oak/ivy everywhere kept it plenty annoying. Mike drew first blood on 2. Neuf tied it on 3 and steadily pulled away. particularly happy with a 3 on 13 finally... Pete, I have your archon... could've written a dozen posts on the 2 mile walk uphill back to the store.

Round 10 is here!!! Final round of the regular season and we will finish at Ellison. I know some weeks have gone over but lets make sure this Round stays on schedule. 08-10 is the deadline for round 10 then we start playoffs!

Going into 18 tied, Steve Benz has the most insane roll-away on 18 that started on the tree next to the basket and ended up OB giving Ed the 5-4 win with a 3.

Krohn "Drone" takes down Nick "Not So Slick" Day at Ellison 5-0 after playing 14 holes.

For me it was a great round and for Nick well..... not so great.

I hit the basket on hole 3 that is twice this week once in league and today in match play that basket is just calling my name.

TK 5-3 over Tony after 17 holes.

Tony got robbed on a few putts. I got some good bounces. Otherwise a very even and well contested match. Highlights include my 5-6-7-8 birdie streak, Tony's absolute park jobs on 15 and 16.

Story of the match is hole 16. We are 5-3 coming in to it. Tony had just parked and birdied 15 to really put the pressure on for a late rally. He lays a beautiful flat rip out over the right most bushes, it fades out in time and he is parked at about 3 feet. I throw a forehand a bit too right and end up in trouble. I decide now or never for my last mully. I lace a forehand up the left side of the gap and just around the bushes. It skips and hits pole to leave me nearlu on top of Tony's disc. We split 17 and that's all she wrote.

Well played Tony I had a great time and I hope to meet you again in the playoffs.

I have to say that these 10 matches that I have played have been awesome, especially yesterday's match. If I am gonna lose, then I want to go out like I did yesterday. Great playing Tom, it was a pleasure playing you.

With Tom's win he locks in the final top 6 spot available and a first round bye. Tom is also locked in to the number 6 seed and will be playing the #3 seed after wild card weekend.
