A big thank you to Dave and Tom for helping me out with cleaning up Sawyer Park and making it much more playable. In the next week or so I will be going back to put up some directional signs to make the course easier to follow.

The course is 9 holes, but we noticed there were more than 9 tee boxes. Does anyone know the layout for the "back 9"? If so, I will work on that as well.

Would anyone like to meet me there for another One Disc Challenge? My thought is bring one putter of your choice. Or perhaps we could play 9 holes with a putter and another 9 holes with a mid-range (one, of your choice)? Any takers?

This is a nice, short beginner's course, or a short course for experienced players who want to play a quick game. Let's use it!

When would you like to play? How about Oct. 13, 14, 20 or 21? Or are you available after work, say 4:00 or 4:30?

I used to live in Greece and many of the women (and guys) that I played with loved this alternative to Basil Marella.I know that the two guys that used to give TLC to this course no longer teach in Greece and find it difficult to get back there to trim.So thanks to the "new" players that have taken Sawyer "under their Discs"! v

For anyone who has a chainsaw, a large tree has fallen across the teepad of hole 7. I'd be happy to clear the area if someone could cut the thing to size.

I think that's been taken care of?

Stopped by Sawyer yesterday to check it out and I don't think that course has looked much better in years.
The signage is good and the course was in great shape and easy to navigate. I forgot how nice that little course is. Sure, it is not some championship level course but it is nice little warm-up course with many tight fairways.

Kudos to Alan for taking the course under his wing and making it playable again.

Played this course for the first time, yesterday, and loved it. Putter and a buzzz was all I needed. Great little warm up/practice putt approach course. Thanks for cleaning it up, I will be back!!
