Ed I thank you and GONZO for the check! And fyi - a few of the pads that they put in in late 2012 didn't cure right so they will be replacing them. Now trying to get tee signs done. Talk about a long process lol. Also, they will be getting a credit card machine specific for disc golf. They're only carrying Innova at the moment, but it's another step in the right direction. Tom (the park manager) has been behind this 100%. He says a lot of people playing are from the Rochester area - so thank you for coming out to play the courses!

We are getting ready to have the signs done for the course. For those that sponsored a hole, do you simply want your name, your name with your pdga # or if it's like a co. name Mark Cerroine (sp?) do you have a logo you send me?

Or if it's the league - does someone have the art they could send it to me.

I'll give my official state email - paul.stephens (at)parks.ny.gov

With these projects I've learned not to state when the project will be done, but Columbus Day weekend is likely a safe date for their completion.

I only have a few people that haven't covered the cost of their sponsorship. If you could, could you please mail the check to:

Lakeside Beach state Park
13691 Roosevelt Hwy, Waterport, NY 14571
att: Tom Rowland

checks should be made out to Natural Heritage Trust

thanks!!!!

BTW - played the white course yesterday and saw some new pads boxed up and ready to pour and a few with fresh concrete.

Awesome to see this added - Thank you!

BTW - are the plans to eventually concrete both blue & white tees on the white course like the beast?

Tim - Most of the holes on the white course will have white and blue tees. The ones in the woods it was decided that due to the work involved and the length of the holes, there will be simply white/blue combos. I would like to get concrete for red tees on the beast next year but I make no promises on that.

For the Beast - the tee signs are now beginning to be made up. I'll have to assume that anyone who didn't want pay for their hole sponsorship - no worries. Hoping I can get the artwork for the GRDGC and Gonzo sent to me soon. For anyone who has those logos, please email them to me at writer20(at)hotmail.com

Also, going off my previous post on tee sponsors that's how your name will show up on the tee sign. Thanks for all the support I've gotten for this project. The first set for the white course was done and they look amazing.

And on a side note - the Rochester area has really made me look good! The park had 118 carloads of disc golfers during the month of September. (They keep track, obviously) That's an amazing number, so I thank any and all that either played or said a good word or two about the courses. I am working on making the Apple much more user friendly course, but that's a long work in progress. But if you're rated above 900, the course will be much more fun to play. Below that, I'd hold off until I can clear more or until the leaves drop.
