Course conditions, opinions and observations

Woodlands Workday 9/29

To any and all that might be interested:

We will be doing some work at the course on Sunday the 29th. 11:00am-1:00 or 1:30pm.

The plan is to concrete the tee signs, better define and spread some wood chips on the paths, and clear a few fairways and the big trees on hole #6 (if someone that has a chain saw can come).

Bring any tools you think might be helpful.

Thanks and have a great week!

I have a frisbee came at 11:30, usually takes until 1 ish. I'll come by after and can help if there is anything left to do.

Anyway, bump. Hope some people see this and come out.

Walker, no worries, thanks for thinking of us.

All of the tee signs are up and cemented in. The basket for hole #6 was also re-cemented.

Did a little work on some fairways. I may still open up #5 some more and #8 definitely needs some better paths to the basket.

Carried out some pavers to the path between 8 & 9, but didn't do anything with them yet.

The big thing is still finding someone to clear that tree on hole #6.

Otherwise the course is in great shape, especially for being just a few months old!

There were a bunch of people out throwing discs yesterday while I was there so that was cool to see too.
