Clean up trash at the Parma and Chili courses

Postby zog9605 » Tue Sep 10, 2013 12:05 am

I know this probably doesn't need to be said , but just a reminder(suggestion) to all club members to carry a garbage bag with you the next few days of practicing at the two courses.... so they don't look like crap from all the litter the punks and delinquents leave behind.

There may not be the top pros coming to our courses this year but if any spectators do take a look, lets at least have clean tournament courses. You all know the usual spots so give yourself some good karma going into the tournament this weekend and clean up after the selfish, apathetic dirt-bags that weren't taught any better by their parents, but hey what can you do, but pick up after them.....or bitch em out if you see em leave their bag of cans on a tee....like they're doing us a favor....oy vey!...anyway....

I will be painting circles and some lines THrusday a.m. if any body wants to come out and lend a hand with last minute clean up and maintenance.

I'll be out there Friday as well. I'll make sure I bring a trash bag when I play. I typically have a couple wegmans plastic bags in my disc golf bag during casual rounds for the same reason. Any word on the OB layout for chili? Same as cookout?

Island green on long pin @ 2. just the creek is out of bounds, not the ditch. Hole ten has no o.b. all else is white stakes or painted boundary. 911 is a painted line along the cut grass line...too many missing stakes to follow the old perimeter. 12 is along the white stakes to the corner then in the woods, all painted. Should be self explanatory.

I have a used baby-jogger that I use as my cart, but it's main purpose is garbage truck. Last time I played at Parma I was impressed at how clean it was.
