Widner Park Course in Chili

Postby ratt@tat » Tue Jun 4, 2013 6:03 am

Does anyone know if the out of bounds has been mowed as of June 3? I was there week ago and it was up to my knees. Looking to play this AM and was just curious.

For casual play, the only out-of-bounds really are the course perimeter and the water.

All the long grass just off the fairways I mean - It was knee high and very messy. Has it been mowed yet or does anyone know when it will be mowed? Any input would be helpful - Thanks.

IDK about the conditions as of today, but I was also there a week ago for a morning round and the rough was at least knee high and almost waist high in many areas. My buddy ended up losing two discs in that jungle.

Actually just found this post from this morning in this thread

Stairyo wrote:I played on Sunday and I figured that comment was referring to the water. The creek was as swollen as I have ever seen it. Paths were gone on 1, 4/5, 6. Full on lake between 2 and 3.

It is drying with the sun on Sunday afternoon and Monday.

As for mowing...the fairways are all nicely mowed. The rough is rough...waist deep in places like left of the fairway on hole 1, but I feel like that's normal.

hey, how do you guys feel about making a lost and found box at the 1st hole/building. This would be locked and would have a slot in the top so you could put a disc in, but not take it out weekly or every other week i could come by and clean it out. Then call people about there disc's
-send some feed back
