Drop off lost discs at Neighborhood for DIscounts

Every time you find a disc you can drop it off at the shop for $2 off a purchase. Then the discs will stay in a lost and found box until the owner comes in to get there discs back.

Also you can trade in your used discs for credit towards purchases. The amount of credit depends on the condition and plastic type of the disc.

Yes. I've had maybe 20 discs dropped off at the shop since it opened and I called the owners and returned them when the owner comes in the store.

Other shops give the finder $2 for a lost disc or $2 off a purchase and then the shop calls the disc owner and they have to either buy something or pay $2 to get there disc back.

This will be a similar situation at Neighborhood

So your saying if some one brings in a lost disc and it says my name on it Krohn ... Name and number you will call me. BUT in order to get my disc back I have to buy something from your shop or I have to pay to get my disc back. ???? Did I read that right.

So your going to be like Play It Again Sports.?????

Or is the only difference that my disc is not for sale for the public people to buy, but I will have to buy it back myself for $2 or more. Or make a purchase in your shop.

There are many shops that have this program in there shops. Check out spinners on the green lost and found section on there website for one example.

It entices people that don't normally return discs to bring them in the shop for a discount and then the shop gives them back to the owners for a small fee or if they buy something so that the shop makes back the lost money from the original discount. A $2 fee seems pretty good to get your disc back when a lot of people give out a reward any way or actually write "reward if found" on their discs.

I decided to try and start the program because a lot of people have asked if I have a lost and found discount program at the shop.

()K* - I understand what you are doing I was just curious on how you are going about the whole lost and found idea.

I got a couple of found discs in my car maybe ill come stop by.
Say i have 3 disc's and you buy at $2 each... you going to give out like a $6 store voucher and i can just keep adding them up over the year till like i have a $50 voucher then i can go disc buying crazy at the shop.????
