Robots and Disc Golf

This year the FIRST Robotics high school competition will have robots throwing Frisbee for points in a disc golf type battle.

Sounds awesome! When I did this our robot just had to pick up balls and put em in a box.

The competition begins Friday (today is a test day, I'm subbing for The Pittsford Sutherland Tech Teacher) and finals is Saturday. The robot not only must launch the disc (I believe an Ultimate Frisbee), but be able to move over inclines and obstacles. Hopefully someone can check it out and report about it :thumbup:
