Gonzo Weekend at Shorewinds September 8 - 9

Gonzo weekend will be at Lakeside Beach State Park.
September 8 - 9
We wil be camping on Loop D
Currently we have 2 sites booked D-9 & D-11 for Sept. 6th - 10th.

I know this is short notice but I wanted to give everyone a heads up as to what is going on at this event. Gonzo Saturday Doubles will be moved to Shorewinds Blue course for September 8th for the usual cost of $10. Later that afternoon we will be playing singles on the White course and playing singles on the Blue course Sunday morning. Following singles we will have other activities planned the same as we had last year (food, ctp, long drive, etc, etc.) Only people that have purchased Gonzo membership packages will be eligible to participate in the Saturday/Sunday singles rounds ($30 for a membership package that includes polo, towel, water bottle). There will be a cash payout for the top players in their separate divisions, even the Ams. We will be camping in D loop like Ed stated if anyone would like to join us. Again I'm sorry for the short notice but I'd love to see a good group of people able to make it out for a good time giving us the opportunity to give back to the local disc golf players. It'd be appreciated if anyone planning on attending both buys the package and lets me know if they are coming ahead of time so that we know how many mouths we have to feed. If that's not possible please at least let me know if you are coming so that I can have enough players packs with me for the weekend. Even if you can't make it out for the weekend the membership packages are available to anybody interested, all proceeds goes back into the courses or back to the players. EVERY PENNY! I always have the packs with me at both Tuesday Doubles, Wednesday Singles, and when I can make it to Saturday Doubles. Sounds like a fun weekend. I'm coaching my kids soccer early Sat. but I can get up to Shorewinds in the afternoon. I'd love to play the Saturday afternoon singles, what time do you think singles will start. I'm sure I can be there by 3pm hopefully that will be in time for singles. If I camp do I need to rent a campsite?

Let's see Saturday double start at 9:30am. Normally league ends around 12:30ish. So playing on blue tees which take longer I'd say we end 1 or 1:30 ish then go take a break. I say 3 sounds like it might be the time we start singles. As long as you are a gonzo member you can join us for singles Sat n Sunday, And for camping ya you would have to get a site we have a few right now but have max amount of people on each site. We are camping on D loop. And most of us staying either Thursday or Friday till Monday morning. If you need info context ED or Derek.

I wish I could make the whole weekend...sounds like a lot of fun. I hope more people show up for a good time!
