Is the tournament still going on. Is there an recreational division or just the amateur and pro divisions. Can we sign up for rochester disc golf club membership there and have our ten dollars extra go to thte membership if we are not already a member
Also your email address didnt work.--

"Amateur" at PDGA tournaments consists of many different divisions. As long as players are interested, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced amateur divisions will be held along with any age-protected divisions and ladies divisions

This event is not being run by the RDGC so If you would like to become a member of that I suggest using this http://grdgc.org/3633-Contact_the_GRDGC and asking how to become a member. I believe that being a member of the RDGC will entitle you to a discount on a full PDGA membership, but only full members of the PDGA do not pay the $10 temporary membership fee.

Derek and I are deciding what to do for this weekend, whether to camp or drive in each day. If anyone has a site locked down with just one tent on it and wants to split the cost with us (we have our own tent and they allow two per site) that would be great! We would love to stay and camp but money's a bit tight at the moment. Let me know... :D

Thanks!!

Due to the possibility of more than 72 amateur players, the Advanced division will play the same schedule as pros: blue course followed by 2 rounds of the white course and last round on the blue course, same tees as previously announced. This change only affects the Advanced division, Adv. Masters, GMs, and women will play the same schedule as intermediate and rec.

Great Tourney, Luke,

I wanted to post a pic of my Blizzard Katana that hyzered over the cliff on hole 14 (Blue Course) and somehow landed and stayed on an island of floating filth below.

OMG just looking at that disc floating on that mound of crap brings back the memory of the awful smell that the wind was bringing our way yesterday morning. Such a beautiful park and area if it wasn't for all of the pollution.

At one point the smell was bad enough to make the flys puke.....

I watched that disc go over the cliff, it must have landed on edge, that some pretty tough poo!

I put 2 in the water there, if anyone finds them, keep em!

You know what else stinks? False ads, i.e. when flyer says $1000 added to Pro Divisions (plural) and all goes to 1 Pro Divsion ! - otherwise a well run tourny. - 304

Doug- playing a 2 person division does not deserve added cash in my opinion. I've put the vast majority of added cash in open in the past and will continue to do so in the future. sorry if you disagree with this, when you run a tournament and raise that 1000 you can put it in whatever division you want. I don't feel that protected divisions should get the same added $ as non-protected divisions.

Your seriously complaining on a public forum after complaining to me at the tournament, about a payout difference of about $50, when I could not have allowed a 2 person division thus forcing you to play Open or not play at all. :(

Yeah, it was a good course, but the sewage water was grossing me out almost the entire time. I unfortunately lost my disc in the water and went to retrieve it. I smelled like sewage water all day.
I am going to be staying in the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay to see some Vegas Shows, but I don't know where to play disc golf in the area. Anyone know?
