Played Basil and GVP today with my buddy Andy. Hes on a ace streak this summer. Skip aced hole 9 at Basil for his 4th ace on that hole. Then we went to GVP after and he got a normal ace on hole 4. Both looked sick. I think Those were his 4th and 5th aces this summer. The one on hole 4 was funny. Some girls were walking on the bike path right behind the basket, If the disc hadn't caught the chains for the ace it would have probably smashed into them.

HAHA. sorry man. Didn't think you were going to post it at all lol. I really thought that at hole 4 at GVP your disc was going way past or was going to hit those girls but nope. Just smashed them chains. Hole 9 was so fun to watch since I was standing right next to the basket filming it. HD aces are the best.

When you saw us at basil that was the first time we tried throwing multiples and filming. All of Andy's other aces this summer and past years were in real rounds. including Hole 4 at gvp yesterday.

It's known as a "cubby ace", after a gentleman named Cubby Cubbage(sp?). He's got about 500 aces on YouTube, but he just throws stacks of discs for hours on end until one goes in. It's been a subject of debate on countless forums. I'm in the camp thinking that your second throw from the tee is your second throw, not an ace.

Still liked the video (you showed it to me at Basil)!

ah yeah I've definitely seen that guy's videos, never heard the term though.
I'm with you on the 2nd shot not really counting, and that's why I didn't mark it on my disc or get signatures from the people I was with or anything like that (though I did for the GVP one for sure). More than anything, we just wanted to capture one on camera, so mission accomplished. And maaaan were we bummed that we stopped filming at gvp when I got that one.

Well today I saw an ace that I do not think I will ever see again. Hole #13 at Como Park, Sean Tomahawked his TeeRex 320ft, bounced once right next to the basket, then up straight into the chains and settling in the bottom. He kept his tag by only 1 stroke from me, so normally I'd be upset... but a tomahawk ace??? Who does that?

I hit #4 twice (the first time was the old tee down to the left, before cement tees). Actually, both were on the old basket too, which happens to reside in my backyard now

Sick ace, I really like hole 2. My brother has two aces in the same week on hole 12, his friend Ryan has two aces on 14. Andy has 3 or 4 aces on hole 9 and I think Falconio recently told me he has multiples on hole 9 as well. There's probably a lot more multiples from other people. basil gets played a lot and has a bunch of ace holes. Another friend Tim has a ace on hole 7 and hole 10 in the same round, so far I've never seen or heard of anything crazier then that.
