About the 2011 PDGA Amateur World Championships!

Thanks.. from a local.

Hey guys, some of you know me, most of you don't. I'm the really eccentric goofy lanky dude that shows up occasionally in my Ultimate Frisbee gear.

I just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to this community, all of you are great. I unfortunately have a full plate of obligations and was not able to put time forth into helping with the courses or worlds and I regret it. I heard so many great comments from people that came from out of town on the courses and how spectacular they were, along with the varying degrees of difficulty and wide variety.

I overloaded with Ultimate this summer and am paying for it on both ends of the spectrum. Between work and ultimate I haven't been at leagues much. (Ultimate M-Thu 6-9pm... becoming a bit much)

Soon as things calm down I shall delve into disc golf more and be able to help more with course management, leagues, and even recruiting more players; I am mainly stealing them from Ultimate!

Once again, thanks.

Thanks Dan, for the nice post. We would love to have you more involved once things slow dow for you. I know, trust me it's all about balance, something that I am trying to get back now that the Am Worlds are winding down. Thanks again for your support and offer of help.
