Good question Ed. Gene worked his butt off at getting this info out to the local media for over a month with little to no interest...even hosting a media day the Wed prior. Even though the sport is getting more popular, we still have a very long way to go.

Great job Gene in getting us any coverage!

The D&C was probably the most disappointing but we can look at what a great story the City paper ran on us and the sport.
The only way anything is going to change is if people start emailing or calling the media outlets and asking them why they didn't cover the am worlds. Sure, it is too late now but perhaps they will make a better effort the next time. If they know their readership and viewers want more coverage they may be more inclined to cover it.

From what I know this was the media coverage we received:
City paper - front page cover story
D&C - one picture last Monday or Tuesday
Messenger Post - small article
YNN - noted above
WHEC Chnl-10 - small interview but I can't find the link to it
