Angry Apple and Beast updates

To help with drainage issues at the Apple, the park manager is closing the course for a few weeks while they work around certain areas of the course. I'll update on here when he gives the aok to come back out.

The Beast - for those of you who made a commitment to pay for a tee pad, I have pretty good news.

The park manager has been able to do the tees for about half as much as he was expecting to pay. So, I suggested that perhaps with those kind of savings, we could do both the blue and white tees on the Beast. He said why not and we should see both sets of tees by Memorial Day if we're lucky. Still no exact total but it should be in that $100 to $120 range.

Both park managers have been great to work with. If you ever come across either one - please say thank you. These guys like disc golfers. I wish all park managers were this cool and so supportive of the sport!

Still don't have a final cost. Once we have the numbers I will post them and who the checks will go to. Thanks to everyone who stepped up to help get them done. The course should be pretty sweet when they're done.

two quick updates: From what I saw on dgcoursereview.com, the Apple is now open for play.

At Shore Winds, there may be some long grass for a week or two due to their main mower dying. Park manager said he expects the tees for the blue course to be done well before the tourney.
