Anyone know anything about this tournament this year? on-line registration? Anyone else planning on going?

Its a 1 dayer at Como, unsanctioned and no on-line registration except for maybe posting on the NRDG forums saying that your going.
I'm not going because my shoulder is still crapped out, but Como is definately a course to check out.
You could try posting on the NRDG forums for more info.

Aug 17th.

100% Payout in all divisions!
2 Rounds, added holes, CTP's for each division.
Non-Sanctioned Event hosted by Mark Kistner, Alan Koons, and Richard Cambio.

Cost:
Open - $35
Advance - $25
Intermediate - $15
*Rec & Master's/Grandmaster's division will be added if there's 4 or more registered.
Ctp prizes & Ace Pool are included in fee.

Sign Up's: 8:30 - 9:30am
Players Meeting at 9:45
Tee off at 10
1 hour break in between rounds. No lunch is provided.

Tees:
Open - Blues, Whites.
Adv. - Blues, Whites.
Int. - Whites, Whites.
*Women and Jr.'s have tee advantage.

If you would like to pre-reg. please find Al, Richard or myself on the courses or league nights.

Yea, the tourny is pretty laid back and fun. Sounds like everyone enjoyed the previous years.
Averaged 50-60 players, lot of day of players that sign up based on the weather.

If I get 4 or more, sure. Being only $15, I encourage the rec player's to play intermediate just for the experience and see where you stand in a larger field. In most tournies, there's always 1 or 2 rec players that should of played intermediate and win by like 20+ strokes and discourages the actual rec. players.
