You clearly missed the point - the OB was excessive; good shots were being penalized.
I clearly noted that adding OBs is perfectly acceptable - just not in the manner of the 2012 Cookout. This is the Chili Cookout not the USDGC - period.
I didn't attend last year but I saw how tight those orange OB lines were and thought it was pretty silly
This addresses my other point - much of the OB wasn't marked clearly. What was was done poorly.
"Declaring all unmowed grass as OB was absurd." - I stand by that statement.
Still waiting to hear from someone in charge of the event regarding the matter for 2013.
I want to attend, but I don't want to spend the day discussing whether someone's throw is in or out and being penalized for otherwise perfectly good throws.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable for expressing my feelings publicly regarding last year, or for inquiring about this year ahead of time.
