Shorewinds Fundraiser Event

Postby Tammy List » Tue Feb 26, 2013 3:36 pm

Chili Disc Golf Course

Sunday March 24th
8:30-9:00 sign up with 9:30 tee off
2 rounds (weather permitting)
$20 with $10 to pay out, $10 to the Shorewinds Shootout
Random Draw Doubles
2 divisions Open/Am (with a possible 3rd Rec division turn-out permitting)

Due to Conflict with Gonzo's end of season event I changed the date from Saturday to Sunday...I am really looking to include both Buffalo and Rochester as much as possible, as I want the Shorewinds event to be a great merge between the two areas.

Hope to see as many people out as possible...thanks ahead of time for your support!!

I could go if it were only one round.

I just can't commit a full day--

I am totally flexible! I can do one round in the am for fundraiser purposes and another after for anyone that wants to stay and play! I really don't care...I just want the most possible participation.

I would have to figure out how to work that out...if some people can only play one round...and some play 2, I don't want to double charge the people that already played in the am. I will figure it out.

I played it 10 days ago, was dry enough to cross all the creeks. Not too messy compared to previous years, there wasn't even a giant mud puddle on 3's basket if i recall correctly.

Not sure if this idea is completely viable but if could work if you did the two round tourney for those that want to play both, then just before the second round starts take all people that arrived and just throw a second tourney side by side with their own payouts, everyone donates ten to the fundraiser and everyone gets to play with minimal adjustments. Just my 2cents.

I am thinking 2 $10 rounds...5 payout/5 shorewinds...if you can only play one round that's cool...if you can play both you will still be paying the same as you would have, there will just be a redraw second round for new partners. I am thinking if you are there by 1p for the second round you should be good.

That sounds best, people could choose either one or both and you have a chance to play with a different partner. Either way I was planning on both. See you there.
