my best round at Chili

Postby ratt@tat » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:01 am

I shot a -3 at Chili the other day. 6 birdies and 3 bogies, if I could only putt (lol). I was just curious what some other normal people (im no professianal) have shot on good rounds there.

If you're shooting a 51 at Chili you're a pro. At the very least the upper upper end of Am status. My personal best there is a 60 but I average mid 60s.

Course record is a 47. Not sure if your 3 under was a 51 or a 54, but a solid round nonetheless

I play hole 11 as a par 5 - even though they list it as a 4. So, it was really only 2 strokes under. I throw far with my Nuke, I just am not that consistent with my putting. I have been playing for like 6 years now and Chili by far my favorite course.

Why don't you make it less confusing for yourself and and anyone else reading this and just say how many times you threw including and extra stokes for ob's. Nobody really puts much emphasis on specific pars for any of the holes. When i shoot I play every hole as a par 3 only so I can do the math easier. Use 54 as your base par and then if you say you shot 3 down it would have taken you 51 strokes.

No need to be sorry it's just a easier way to remember how you scored in the end. 54 is damn good round, congrats!
