How about Churchville or Sweden? We may have to use that course (which we should ,in my opinion only!). Especially if we get the numbers they have in KC! I realize that the Pros & AMs are together but there are a "boatload" of AMs there!!!!

I like the '80's atari style of blocks. The color version is the best one. It shows technological ways of Rochester (or RIT's brick buidlings), I guess.

I'm ok with landscape with deer but it reminds me of hunting deers in Michigan or Minnesota...

ok so you guys would like to have 8 disc stamps of all 8 courses--- the stamps could be of the signature hole at each course.

All I know is that Basil's hardest hole is #8 and Ellison's signature hole is #7....

So like one hole for each course- instead of multiple hole stamps which would probably exceed the accepted number of stamp designs for 2011.

Yeah I'm trying to design some technology related stuff because of RIT (I am the class of 2008! ), Kodak, Xerox... etc

The deer was just something I already had in my folders and I rearranged it to represent a little bit of Rochester's outdoorsy side. Haha I agree it kind of looks like the great wilderness that we really don't have here. It was worth a shot.

I'm gonna do the lilac and the Rochester icons design next. If we could, we could do lilac scented discs.... haha just kidding.

Maybe not lilac scented discs... but there is a company called "The Crafty Scientist" which provides tournaments with bars of soap for players packs such scents as "Lemony fresh Disc Golfer" and "No Ticks at Wick" and "sweaty raver kid". They provide the sample bars for player packs free. For worlds, I'm shure we could get bigger bars, and add them as a sponsor maybe.

Yeah I know! but the DG soaps are actually pretty awesome.

I had another idea for a stamp today. How about just a traffic cone? Or a road full of them trailing off into the distance? Maybe the I-490 sign on the side of the road (with the cones)? Just don't depict anybody working, that wouldn't be accurate. I'm sure the players will get it, when they try to navigate to all of our courses.

Awesome job. I loved the seasons stamp as well as the techno looking stamp. Both would look great on a white disc.

this is the revised edition of the seasons with spring as a lilac tree instead.

Let me know if the text is ok or I could change it up again with different font.

I still like the design a lot but that text just doesn't fit IMO. The text is a little two wavy, the rest of the stamp is much cleaner.

I agree with Gator about the text.

Looks like the text is either melting away into unreadable or it looks like it was written by a child.

Just change the text to something more clearer but leave the trees, baskets, birds alone. I notice there's purple color at the bottom of the winter tree. Should it be there or is it wrong color?

Yeah the purple is to be there, it's like a shadow or glistening of the snow. I was trying to incorporate the purple in another tree since I had used it for the lilac tree.

For "Seasons", I picked out the colored shirts that would help the design pop out without any blending.

I also thought that they don't necessarily need the dates, just the year and "Seasons" is Fall 2009...... if you want the dates back on there, let me know:

I usually don't spend money on the nicer shirts, because the designs are always lame. But I'd definitely buy one of those "digital" designs on a black dry-fit, maybe the seasons one too.

For the tourny discs, you must have the place and the date in order to qualify for the tourny discount provided by discraft and innova, so we have to have those two things on the disc. It doesn't matter for the shirt though. Thanks for all your hard work.

Ryan,

I have met the deaf female disc golf artist herself in person just last Sunday at Basil and thanked her for her amazing artwork. She stated that she's only doing VOLUNTEERING artworks just for the club. She also stated that most students and teachers at RIT does NOT get her disc golf-related theme artworks and criticizing her. WHAT?!?

Anyway, she sidearmed her discs quite well at Basil from the red/blue tees. I've told her about another deaf female disc golfer that I met at Ellison last week during the league and didn't catch her name though. Told her that maybe she might pop up at Ellison again or hopefully in one of those deaf Facebook groups.

FYI, She is hoping that you (Ryan) did not copy the photos from her photobucket files because it will come out very low resolution. You will need to contact her for the original high resolution files to be used on stamps and/or shirts.

Will we able to see RFDO stamped discs this year? or Is it too late now?
